Vital energy points are located throughout the body and awaken with the therapeutic touch using tuning forks. These ‘points’ are referred to in Chinese Medicine as Acupuncture or Acupressure points, and in Ayurveda and yogic healing as Marma points. Marma therapy is an ancient Indian practice which focuses on the manipulation of subtle energy (prana) in the body for the purposes of supporting the healing process. Vibrational healing with Tuning Forks provides an effective option in marma therapy for accessing and nourishing the prana (life force energy) and the body’s meridian system. Applied vibration is effective because sound waves travel extremely well through water. The body is 70-80% water, making it an excellent conductor and resonator of sound. Vibratory tones travel through the inner landscape of the body to help remove blockages, alleviate stasis and pain, and increase the flow of vital energy.
